The TOP CONSULTANT competition honors the best consultants for medium-sized businesses in Germany / Christian Wulff congratulated at the award ceremony
Bad Homburg v.d.H. – Rhino Management Consulting GmbH (Rhino MC) has impressed with its ability to meet the needs of medium-sized businesses and is now allowed to carry the TOP CONSULTANT seal for the best consultants for medium-sized businesses. Former Federal President and Prime Minister Christian Wulff congratulated Rhino MC on the award at the ceremony held during the German SME Summit on Friday, June 27, in Mainz. Wulff accompanies the consultant comparison as a mentor. The Scientific Society for Management and Consulting (WGMB) had previously identified the best consultants for medium-sized businesses on behalf of compamedia.
The basis of TOP CONSULTANT is a scientific customer survey: Rhino MC provided the WGMB with medium-sized reference customers, who were then surveyed by the WGMB. The scientists were interested in how satisfied the reference customers were with the consulting and whether they would recommend Rhino MC (more information on the evaluation criteria at http://www.top-consultant.de/pruefkriterien. 138 consulting companies applied for the TOP CONSULTANT seal in this round. 111 passed the selection process and are now allowed to carry the seal.
Rhino MC convinced in the consultant competition and is among the winners. Since the company’s founding in 2023, the Bad Homburg consultants have made a name for themselves, particularly with their expertise in IT strategy, IT operating model, and managing complex IT transformations, including AI.

Prof. Dr. Dietmar Fink, Professor of Management Consulting at the Bonn-Rhein-Sieg University of Applied Sciences, together with Bianka Knoblach, leads the WGMB. They decide who is awarded the TOP CONSULTANT seal. And they take a close look: “We have developed a scientific methodology based on a customer survey. The consultants have little opportunity to disguise themselves,” says Professor Fink at the award ceremony. He adds: “A consultant who participates in TOP CONSULTANT should expect that we go into depth when we talk to their customers about their performance.”

The participant field of the competition, organized by compamedia since 2010, consists mainly of management, IT, and personnel consultants. These companies undergo the examination by the scientific management of the competition: Prof. Dr. Dietmar Fink, Professor of Management Consulting at the Bonn-Rhein-Sieg University of Applied Sciences, and Bianka Knoblach.
