Job Overview:
We are looking for a highly experienced Senior IT Project Manager / Program Manager with more than 10 years of experience in managing complex, large-scale IT programs.
You will be part of an expert consulting environment, working closely with highly experienced management and technology consultants to deliver measurable value to our clients. As a senior professional, you will play a crucial role in shaping and driving complex programs, while continuously developing your own expertise in a demanding, fast-paced international consulting environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage large-scale client infrastructure and IT transformation programs with 25+ FTEs
- Set up and structure IT programs end-to-end, including creating roadmaps, timelines, governance models, and defining roles and responsibilities
- Ensure full transparency of activities, progress, risks, and dependencies, including direct reporting to the client’s CIO or senior management
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams (consultants, engineers, architects, business units) to drive project success
- Continuously monitor quality, budget, and timeline performance
- Ensure high client satisfaction and long-term engagement success
Qualifications
Education
- Master’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field
Experience
- 10+ years of professional experience in IT project and/or program management
- Proven track record of managing complex client engagements of 25+ FTE and budgets of 5+ million EUR
- Experience in international environments; experience with German clients is a strong plus
Skills and Competencies
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving and critical thinking abilities
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of addressing senior management and C-level stakeholders
- Proven decision-making competence and ability to present structured options and recommendations to senior management
- High level of ownership, reliability, and accountability
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint
- Advanced English proficiency (minimum C1 level required)
- German language skills are considered a strong advantage
